I’m also alive. Otherwise, of course, I wouldn’t be able to post this status. I will now allow you to attempt to disprove my logic in any way you would like, but before I do, I will assure you that I am in fact, very much living. So anything you try ...

Lafayette! It’s my pleasure to speak with you again! I apologize for my inaction on the front of France’s civil war. You must understand, the United States was in no position to intervene. I was simply acknowledging the truth of the matter and doing what I felt necessary for the future stability of our great country.

Besides that, how have you been doing? I heard the war left you in some trouble. Has your state been one of certainty and health? I do hope you can answer yes to my question.

Yours truly,
Alexander Hamilton
Alexander, I am happy to speak with you again! It has been the longest time!
And do not worry Alexander, I understand that the United States was in no
position to help, others will not be as understanding as I am. I saw the state of
your country when I left and I didn't expect you to be ready during our time of need!
I understand you were just trying to do thing right thing for your Country! And I hope you
can say hi to President George Washington for me!

Other whys I am fine, I have returned home. And for now I am fine, a bit shook and hurt but nothing
more than scares, As you have probably heard Small Pokes is going around and I am trying my best to
not get the sickness. Otherwise, I am fine and hope to know how you have been doing. I am going to be
coming back to the United States soon and hope to write to you and the whole group again! Although I have
forgotten some of my English. I hope to hear from you again soon!

Your Truly,
Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette.

My dear friend, I am doing as well as I can in the company I currently deal with. Have you heard of a one Thomas Jefferson? I can only describe this man as the human equivalent of a headache. It seems in every instance, his only goal is to counter my effort.

His looks however, while in no respect rival my dear John’s, do remind me of your own. I have many a time mistook him, which has led to awkward situations that I wish never to have occurred. I am oddly repulsed at even the thought of treating him as I treat yourself. You are a man of great respect, and Jefferson is the opposite.

As I have mentioned and explained to the best of my ability, the United States was not in a position it needed to be to enter war, even in the cause of aiding France. Jefferson, however, was unable to detect that clear and obvious fact. He was ready to plunge the country into bankruptcy, despair, and ambiguity.

If you need any more proof of this man’s missing ability to rationally think and behave, I will gladly provide you with such.

Yours truly,
Alexander Hamilton
